DOSIsoft Announces the New Release of PLANET® Dose, Complete Dosimetry Solution also for 177Lutetium-based Therapies

DOSIsoft announces a new major release of its PLANET® Dose dosimetry solution for advanced radionuclide-based therapies. It includes specific features for 177Lu treatments, in particular related to the pharmacokinetic characteristics of such treatments. The new features include: multi time points elastic image registration, deformable propagation of Volume-Of-Interest, residence time calculation, dose computation, consolidation of multi-treatment stages and appropriate Dose-Volume histograms.

After the first successful installation of EPIgray® at Hebei Tumor Hospital (Shijiazhuang, China) in March, the centers of 301 Military Hospital and Cancer Hospital Chinese Academy of Medical Science (CAMS) in Beijing as well as the First Hospital of Chinese Medical University in Shenyang are evaluating EPIgray® – EPID-based in vivo dose monitoring system.
